Pickens County Drug Arrest

On 05/23/2023, deputies with the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office Community Action Team conducted a traffic stop on Calhoun Memorial Highway in Easley.

According to deputies, the vehicle’s driver was identified as Christy Nicole Smith, who appeared exceptionally nervous when approached by law enforcement.

Upon further investigation, Smith was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and a trafficking weight of methamphetamine.

Christy Nicole Smith was arrested on the following charges:

• Possession of Controlled Substance – 2nd Offense.

• Trafficking Methamphetamine.
