Civil Process

The Pickens County Sheriff's Office Civil Process Unit is charged with serving papers correctly and on time.  The unit serves family court rules, summons, court of common pleas summons & complaints, probate papers, subpoenas, petitions and orders of protection from family court and other agencies, evictions, repossessions, writs, and different types of civil documents.  Each year, the Civil Process Unit deputies work tirelessly to receive, process, serve, and return thousands of civil papers. The judicial system's effectiveness depends upon this unit's efficient and expeditious service of these civil papers.  The Pickens County Sheriff's Office Civil Process Unit is made up of deputies Brandon Morgan, Danon Gilstrap, and Jonathan Byers, supervised by Lt. Daniel Cochran of the Office of Professional Standards.
