Pickens County Drug Arrest

On 06/22/2023, deputies with the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office Uniform Patrol Division (Bravo Team) conducted a traffic stop on Brandy Lane in Pickens.

The vehicle’s driver was identified as Lawrence Clayton Hendricks, who, according to deputies, was sweating profusely and shaking uncontrollably.

K-9 unit, Kona, was deployed and provided a positive alert on Hendricks’ vehicle.

Upon further investigation, Hendricks was found to be in possession of digital scales and an intent to distribute quantity of methamphetamine.

Lawrence Clayton Hendricks was arrested and charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine – 1st Offense.
