Pickens County Drug Arrest

On 06/18/2023, deputies with the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office Uniform Patrol Division (Echo Team) conducted a traffic stop on Winding Creek Road in Liberty.

The vehicle was occupied by Mitchell Eugene Justice, who, according to deputies, was breathing heavily and shaking uncontrollably when approached by law enforcement.

K-9 Unit, Shadow, was deployed and provided a positive alert on the vehicle.

Upon further investigation, Justice was found to be in possession of an intent to distribute quantity of methamphetamine.

Mitchell Eugene Justice was arrested and charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine – 1st Offense.
