Pickens County Drug Arrest

On 04/12/2024, deputies with the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office Community Action Team attempted a traffic stop on West Main Street in Six Mile.

Following a brief pursuit, the vehicle’s driver was stopped and identified as William Dustin Collins, who was found to be in possession of an intent to distribute weight of methamphetamine, a quantity of marijuana, and a controlled substance.

William Dustin Collins was arrested on the following charges:

• Resisting Arrest.

• Possession of Marijuana – 1st Offense.

• Failure to Stop for Blue Lights – 1st Offense.

• Possession of a Controlled Substance – 2nd Offense.

• Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine – 3rd Offense.

• Possession of Firearms or Ammunition by a Person Convicted of PWID.
