Pickens County Drug Arrest

On 10/04/2023, deputies with the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office Community Action Team conducted a traffic stop on Thomas Mill Road in Easley.

The vehicle’s driver was identified as Jonathan Carter Gillespie, accompanied by Stephanie Ann Marie Mclaurin.

K9 Unit Dak responded to the scene and provided a positive alert on the vehicle.

Upon further investigation, Gillespie and Mclaurin were found to be in possession of a trafficking weight of methamphetamine.

Jonathan Carter Gillespie and Stephanie Ann Marie Mclaurin were arrested on the following charges:

Jonathan Carter Gillespie:

• Trafficking Methamphetamine – 1st Offense.

• Possession of Weapon During Violent Crime.

Stephanie Ann Marie Mclaurin:

• Trafficking Methamphetamine – 3rd Offense.
